The sculptures that form part of the Serie Pendurada were made during the artist residency Largo das Artes in Rio de Janeiro, July 2015. The series investigates the activation of empty space and the possibilities and limitations of materials. The work explores tension and balance between the hung and grounded, the translucent and solid, the light and heavy.
